The Icelandic childrens school Rimaskóli are Nordic champions in chess. The team from the school participated in competitions in Jutland in Denmark this weekend.
The team made a 2-2 tie with the Norwegian team in the final round, while the Swedes won 3-1 against Denmark.
The teams were equal with 14 wins but Rimaskóli got more points, by winning Sweden and there for won the title Nordic champions.
Sweden came in second place and Norway in third place.
