Hahaha… very clever! I guess the lunch is wishing it had packed it’s own tiny parachutes!
(I really like the strong vertical/downward pull of this one and how you’ve broken the border with the airplane wing… very nicely done)!
Thank you, I really like how this one turned out.
Hahahahaha, uh oh!
I’m approaching the sound barrier!
Doh! Haha!
I’d rather be flying! Uh… oh
Ah, the lunchbox rescue plane for the food. Clever…lol
I predict Pawn is not going to have a very good landing. Or a very good day.
He gave us a good demonstration of the Doppler affect..
Dooooooppleeeeerr!
Let’s do launch!
You can be my wingman anytime.
Hee hee…
I guess it’s too late to go back for the right backpack then??? If he can somehow slow his fall he could land on the banana which would soften his landing as it squishes under him.
Glad I could be so inspiring. Your tall comic is way better than my fishing one. I have another tall one in draft. I like the idea of scrolling for the punchline.
Thanks Tony, but I do like your version better and there is something really funny about seeing the fish before the punchline. I have had the idea of a parachuting pawn for a long time but I hadn’t found a way to execute it until I saw your comic.
Wonderful, Hjortur! Nicely staged with great color! I liked Tony’s strip, and this one is great, too! You guys are on to something with the scrolling thing. It gives readers a way to participate in the timing. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thanks Mark, I’m glad you liked it. This was a very fun strip to draw.
He’d better know some pretty darned decent MacGyver tricks to get out of this one.
HAHA! MacGyver wouldn’t have a problem solving this one.
Except no explosives.
MacGyver could probably mix the coffee, apple and the banana and make an explosive devise.
Uh ooh!
That has probably crossed his mind
love the dynamic of the panels…=) love your comic. will keep following!
Thank you so much for your visit and your kind comments.
