Thanks for all the comments on the last post, I think it is a comment record for maniccomics.com
I’m having some trouble with time management. The problem is that there aren’t enough hours in the day. I’m just about to start my first semester studying business at the University of Iceland and I’m taking a course in mathematics and financial accounting so that I’ll hit the ground running at the start of the semester.
I was going to finish the second page of the “The Manic World of Chess” series but I really want to take my time and color it right, therefore it will be rescheduled till Monday so until then have a great weekend.
Br,
Hjörtur

Do something brave today……. Then, run like hell!
I’m not sure if that is brave, or stupid!
A Little bit of both.
Studying comes before comics?
Noooo!!
This is a good thing.. Now I can finally open up a Pawn Shop.
Aha!!! I get it, this comic is promoting Facebook because they wrote on his wall. I initially saw the Tic Tac part of the title & thought it was gunna be another bomb comic. I know what you mean about time. Just creating comics, replying to commenters & visiting other peoples sites alone can be hard to keep up with at times. Sometimes I think if I didn’t enjoy it so much it would be hard t keep going.
HAHA! I hadn’t thought about the facebook wall.
It’s very enjoyable, I love to draw those little suckers and visiting other peoples sites.
I’ll still keep posting on my regular days and I will try to post the series on time in the future.
Hjortur,
Study, study, study, study….it is the only way to get the most free time on hand.
Thanks for the tip
Oh I remember all those classes to get my degree in business management. It’s a challenge indeed. Well worth the effort though. Hang ion there.
Have a terrific day.
Thanks
Hahaha…
that’s why I try to never fall asleep at a tic-tac-toe party!
I ones woke up with tic-tac-toe on my forehead
“time management”
What’s that ?
Oh, that’s fun! Hey, Hjörtur have you ever heard of Ferd’nand? It’s a silent strip, but really fun to look at.
We get Ferd’nand strips in the local newspaper
The thing about my comic.. I love to draw them but I don’t have a clue about what I’m doing. I had ridden the dialog for this one but then decided to remove it and see if it would work. You could say that maniccomics.com is a testing ground for different layouts and drawing styles. So all tips are greatly appreciated.
I have been reading Krasy Kat after your last comment
Krazy Kat is a very interesting comic! Strange, but neat.
You did the right thing by leaving out the dialogue, Hjörtur. It works perfectly fine just the way it is. Words probably would have ruined it. Keep up the experiments, it’s fun to see what you come up with next..
Thanks
Awesome comic! I love the concept of the chess world. But does anyone really ever win at tic-tac-toe?
I never win at TTT, I’m way too impatient to set anything up. That’s why I suck at checkers too.
I don’t either. Or scrabbull.
I do!
Hey ya! I guess you did… Way to go!
I love this whole, entire concept. It’s unique, and you pull it off so well.
Thank you I appraised that
Hahaha, I like how the pawns are running and sweating in the first panel. It really shows their feelings even though there is no facial expression. Good job!
and good luck with studies!
Haha, Thanks!
I always have a hard time getting their facial expression right
